Hollywood strikes again. Saw 2012 the movie last night. Entertaining flick. But if you saw Armmageddon a few years ago, you will just see the same theme. The world is ending and a man saves it is the constant. The Hollywood elite have simply found a new forum to sell their latest version of 'the sky is falling'. They should have named the movie, 'Chicken Little and Global Warming'. One thing they got away from was the tired theme that man has caused the global warming.
On a more important point they did point to the fact that few have plans for a disaster. They showed that those who have money can buy a plan if they need one, but what about the rest of us?

With some easy, inexpensive preparations in place, a well-coordinated family can easily stock enough supplies to be self sufficient for weeks and months. The real problem, will be the 80-90% ( or higher ) of the population that are completely unprepared. Who will quickly panic and just as quickly seek those who are prepared.
